What role does Cornerstone have in helping an investment buyer?
As a mortgage broker, we first listen to the investor's goals and review their financial situation. Once we assess their situation, we look for programs that fit our borrower’s needs. Depending on the number of homes an investor may have, financing can become more complex. We look to know if the loan will be a short-term, rehab, flip, or long-term or tenant-occupied loan because each situation requires a different type of loan.
As a buyer’s agent, we look to understand the investor's intention with the investment: short-term, rehab, flip, or long-term or tenant-occupied. Once we understand the investor's goal, we study listings that may maximize their return.
